Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb fresh lion’s mane mushrooms, cleaned and sliced/torn into pieces
- 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- ½ tsp sea salt (adjust to taste)
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
- 1 tsp lemon juice (optional, for brightness)
Instructions
- Prepare the Mushrooms – Clean and slice or tear the lion’s mane mushrooms into bite-sized pieces.
- Heat the Pan – In a large skillet, heat the olive oil or butter over medium heat.
- Sauté the Garlic – Add the minced garlic to the pan and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Cook the Mushrooms – Add the mushrooms to the skillet and sauté for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and slightly crispy.
- Season – Drizzle with soy sauce, season with salt and pepper, and stir well.
- Finish & Serve – Optionally, add lemon juice and fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy as a side dish or a meat alternative!
Notes
For extra crispiness, avoid overcrowding the pan. If cooking a larger batch, sauté in two batches to prevent steaming instead of browning.
